Does this mean Armstrongism no longer preaches which sexual positions are the approved positions? Talk about micromanaging the "missing dimensions" of the missing brains.Richard
"Churches should not be in the business of micromanaging members’ lives."Shouldn't that be "member's"? Or, was that apostrophe placed correctly as in a collective Borg?In a religion that includes thought crimes it would seem necessary to micromanage.
So, Larry, if you believe that, you should ask your pastor (or whoever is next up in the food chain from you, in the church hierarchy) why Joseph Tkach Jr. still micromanages the Worldwide Church of God/Grace Communion International. If you do not, will not, or cannot ask that question, Larry...why not?
Gosh PH, I apologize. I am unaware of any micromanagement.
larry said...Gosh PH, I apologize. I am unaware of any micromanagement.Gosh Larry, are you unaware the missionary position is the only way to have sex? That you should start spanking your babies at 3 months of age? That you should only buy certain brands of clothes and cars and food? You are allowed to wear a pinkish or purpleish shirt to church? When you close your eyes like that, do you bump into stuff?
"I am unaware of any micromanagement."I provided links, Larry. Click the words with blue underlined text. You will see the micromanagement still going on in the Worldwide Church of God/Grace Communion International.Or are you still so brainwashed, that you self-police, the way we all used to?
"When you close your eyes like that, do you bump into stuff?"That's my question too, but I don't think the rules you've cited are still applicable under Junior's infallible papacy, Corky; I just wonder how many years it will take for the real stories of the ongoing abuses that are happening (continuing psychological and financial abuses, for example) to make it outside the wire, the way it finally has with the Roman Catholics?
I think both of you guys are stuck in the 70's, maybe even the 60's!
